Since the main hero's parents have died, she and her little brother live with her granny. Which meanwhile has become old an forgetful. Sometimes she fetches the girl from the school bus in her dressing gown. Her granddaughter is highly embarressed and she is teased and isolated by the other kids from school. Therefore she finds a drastic answer.
