For Soraya wit starts getting boring to play alone all the time. But her mother doesn't have time to accompany her. One day a family with two little children moves in nextdoor. Soraya tries to convince her mother to let her go nextdoor and let her play with the children - she becomes a true little nag!
But her mother will not back down, even after all her clever tricks, her mother still answers "No."
But then a ball jumps over the wall, and a new game starts.
Actually I would have called Soraya a "foolish little brat".
But the director Gholamreza Ramezani has realised the story in a way that gives you the chance to understand both points of view, the mother's and the daughter's: The mother, who has to take all duties of the home and also has to work. And she also lives unter the rules, that a woman has to follow in Iran. And then Soraya, who doesn't know what to do with all those phantastic ideas she has!
Waht I liked best is that the movie tells only one single story, but in a very detailed way. It was shot at only one location, and this makes the story, funny to say so, more vivid - it felt almost like being played on a theatre stage.
And then i would like to mention the wonderful main actress, who convinced especially by her mimics and gestures!
